Readers’ Letters…From Nigel Hollington

18 April 2024

Dear Membership

I’m pleased to report that my request for membership involvement is gathering apace and that another communication has been placed within the OEA portals. We were very grateful to John Sullivan (Rodney 49-57) for getting the ball rolling (literally) with his cricketing story. Now we have a missive from Nigel Hollington (Marlborough 67-74) influenced by his glancing of the two war memorials in his school chapel days. He visited Thailand recently and felt that a trip to the War Graves Commission Cemetery in Kanchanaburi in order to commemorate two fallen OEs was a necessity. This is his moving story.

Please get in touch with whatever you would like to share. I’m sure our membership will be grateful.
