Welcome to a new monthly round up of whatever the OEA has to communicate, sent out on the first day of each month!!

Some reminders for you.

2. A reminder of an Afternoon by The Thames in Central London on 9th March to celebrate the OE Spring Luncheon ..see Connections page for details.

3. A final call on your contributions as to how we should spend our 2024 Charity Funds….see Connections Page for details.

4. Brian Cassidy (President, OERFC) is running his President’s Day at the OERFC’s Taunton Road ground in West Wimbledon on Saturday 16th March. If you fancy attending and shouting for the 1st Team please email me at oeamember@gmail.com and I will pass your message on.

5. An heads up (a,e,i,o,u and h my English teacher said!) for those of you who play golf…there’s an OEGS meeting in May in Surrey. See the OE Golf Society notes under Community Sports for details.

6. Boy (or is it Girl)…should we not be proud of “There She Rows” , a team of four female athletes who last week completed their 2,700 nautical miles row of the Atlantic. Ana Zigic OE…we are exceptionally proud of you. (There are a number of videos of the team on You Tube).

7. We have heard from our potential Olympian…Nic Baker… that he continues to train hard to achieve his goal of representing our country. See the Charity pages for more information.
