Following the mutually agreed separation of the OECC Heritage and our former playing group, the club is in a temporary state of limbo with no OECC competitive cricket in the foreseeable future and a period of rebuilding has begun.

Our mailing list is basically restricted to OECC Vice Presidents so any messages we send out are not reaching as big an audience as we would like, not to mention getting feedback and input for any decision making as we develop the club in the future.

The OEA has kindly offered to send this message out to all on their mailing list to hopefully touch base with former pupils of Emanuel School who played cricket for the school/club in the past and/or have an interest in how the cricket club develops.

If you would like to be kept informed about the club developments and be involved in its future (including plans for our centenary in 2026), please feel free to drop me an email (ian@thejoolspaynepartnership.com) to let me know – I’ll make sure you’re on any future mailing lists for Old Emanuel Cricket Club.

I look forward to hearing from you and getting back in touch with many old friends.

Ian Payne, President, OECC
