Charity: Old Emanuel Association Donations
Our Third C is CHARITY. As important as the other strands of our purpose. Within our Charity Policy we look to provide donations in support of charities that support the life and wellbeing of youth living within the locality of the school. We also look to donate to affiliated clubs to support their own work in the community …particularly Community Sports Initiatives. And we look to provide donations in support for other initiatives that might be tabled from time to time that are relevant to the OEA.
Currently the OEA is supporting the prestigious “PRIMARY AMBITIONS” initiative which is described on the link below and, new this April 2024, we are pleased to announce that we are to support WANDSWORTH MUSIC in their most laudable objective to bring joy to youth across the borough through the medium of music. More information on this most successful of charities is to be found on the link below. We will specifically be helping in the September to December 2024 Vocal Programme for 7 to 9 year old students and the January to March 2025 Programme for the 9 to 11 year age group.
The joy to be had by participants can be seen within a you tube clip of the younger cohort performing at The Royal Albert Hall in 2023.

Primary Ambitions
In September 2019 the school launched Primary Ambitions.
This outreach and partnership programme involves pupils in the Lower Sixth engaging with partner primary schools on a weekly basis as part of their planned curriculum.

Wandsworth Music
We are so proud to have made the decision to support this outstanding charity which brings music into the lives of 8,000 5-18 year olds within Wandsworth Borough.
